Abeautifulred almost shocks Riccarton in Group One race
12 November 2011 The 3 yr old filly Abeautifulred almost caused the shock of the Riccarton carnival when she was beaten a half head in the prestigious Group One1000 Guineas. She was at long odds and thrilled her owners Bill Gleeson, Scott Plant and Graeme Rogerson showing stamina that will see her long term goal this year be the NZ Oaks at Trentham. All going well she will follow through the filly of the year races. The stable appears strong in 3 yr old fillies with Abeautifulred, Dowager Queen, Joy's Choice and a couple of fillies including Hope So that look promising.
