Welcome to Rogerson Harness

Graeme Rogerson has launched a major new venture in 2007 into the Australasian Harness Racing industry. He has set up a fully equipped and self sufficient harness training facility within his Tuhikaramea (Hamilton, NZ) based thoroughbred training establishment. A training partnership with Peter Simpson will be based at Tuhikaramea to train this well bred team, including proven mare "Top Tempo". A lifetime interest in harness racing has now evolved into plans being in place for a serious involvement in the sport from 1st August 2007.
Exercise tracks are now being laid, staff and equipment are being sourced, yearlings have been purchased from the NZ Premier yearling sales and tried horses will be purchased to enable the stable to have a presence in the new season. Recent announcements from the NZ Racing Board initiated by last year's legislation changes by Racing Minister Winston Peters have brought about stake money increases and opportunities and given us the confidence to invest significant new funds from our own resources and also on behalf of NZ and Australian clients into both thoroughbred and standardbred racing.

New clients have been quick to embrace our vision for the future and are investing alongside us and we suggest you call us now to find out more, and then perhaps join one of our syndicates to chase the rich Sales Series bonuses and races that are emerging each season.

Over $850,000 has been invested at the 2007 Premier yearling sales series in Christchurch and Auckland to purchase the foundation horses for the stable. These yearlings were carefully selected on pedigree and type to include colts and fillies in both the pacing and trotting gaits.
